Anonymous Classroom Polls — No Student Account Needed

Many classroom polling tools ask students to sign in with a school account or create a profile. AnonPolls doesn't—students open a link or scan a QR code and vote.

Why Teachers Use Anonymous Polls

Comprehension checks

"Did this lesson make sense?" — students give honest answers because they know their teacher cannot identify their vote. Anonymous responses reveal the real picture.

Opinion polls for discussion

Vote first anonymously, then discuss the results as a class. Seeing the split before discussion prevents early anchoring and gets more students to speak.

Course feedback

End-of-term anonymous feedback without the awkwardness of identified responses. Students say what they actually think when they know it's truly private.

Feature Highlights

QR code

Project on screen. Students scan with their phone camera — no URL to type.

No app download

Works in any mobile browser. Students vote in seconds without installing anything.

Live results

Frequently Asked Questions

Do students need to create accounts?

No. Students click the link or scan the QR code and vote immediately. No account, email, Google login, or app download required.

Can the teacher see who voted for what?

No. AnonPolls does not collect accounts or names. You see only totals, never who voted for what. To limit repeat votes, it stores a one-way hash of the voter's network address with the vote, not the address itself. In classroom or office mode, each browser can vote once instead of each network.

Is AnonPolls free for teachers?

Free to use — no subscription, no classroom licence, no credit card. Standard anti-abuse rate limits may apply.
